October Events in Richmond, KY

Fall is here and there is plenty of fun activities happening in Richmond. Whether you enjoy Art, running 5K’s, classic cars, or all of the above, there is something for everyone. Here are some of the great events happening this October in Richmond.

2019 Richmond Arts Fest

This is a great opportunity to support local artists and small businesses. The festival will feature handmade arts and crafts by some of Kentucky’s talented artists. In addition, there will be music, food trucks, and inflatables for the kids. This event will be held on October 5th from 10am-8pm at Irvine McDowell Park (345 Lancaster Ave Richmond, KY 40475).

Boonesborough Boogie Nationals Car Show

If you love cars, this is the place to be. The three day event will showcase over 1,000 cars. The event will also host swap meet vendors, food vendors, as well as entertainment. Being held October 11-13, from 8am-5pm. Taking place in the picnic area of Fort Boonesborough State Park

Realty World Adams and Associates 3rd Annual Fall Festival

Realty World Adams and Associates are hosting their 3rd Annual Fall Festival at Adventure Falls at Lake Reba in Richmond. This event is open to the public so take the whole family and enjoy a fun day of activities. All activities are free, including mini golf  and batting cages. You will also find inflatables, balloons, a race car, as well as police and fire trucks. There will be free burgers and hot dogs while they last.  This is being held on Saturday October 19th,  from 11am-3pm at the Adventure Falls facility (250 Lake Reba Dr, Richmond, KY 40475)

Harvest for the Hungry Fundraising Dance

This is a great opportunity to help the community while enjoying a fun night in the process. Proceeds from this dance will help stock the food pantry. Snacks and drinks will be provided. There will be contests, a Photo Booth, and prizes. It will be held on Saturday, October 19th, starting at 7pm. It takes place at Trinity Church (315 Spangler Drive, Richmond, KY 40475)

Historic Haunt 5K & 10K

Join the 3rd Annual Historic Haunt 5K & 10K at White Hall State Park in Madison County/Richmond area.

This is a 10K Race, 5K Run/Walk, as well as a Free Little Goblins Run. Regardless if you are running for a personal best time or just walking to get your cardio workout, take the opportunity to enjoy a nice day of beautiful countryside views. Runners or walkers sign up for Historic Haunt 5K &10K in order to participate. The race starts at White Hall State Historic Site on October 19th, at 8:45am (500 White Hall Shrine Rd, Richmond, KY 40475)
