The city of Richmond, KY prepares for the annual Madison County Fair and Horse Show. The county fair features carnival rides, agriculture exhibits, 4H exhibits, livestock shows, horse shows, petting zoo, and much more. Live performances and diverse entertainment makes this a fun event for guests of all ages.

Madison County Fair and Horse Show starts on July 26 and ends on August 3. The general admission fee is of $12 on Friday to Saturday, and $10 on Monday to Thursday. Family Fun Night takes place on Sunday, July 28th. Families get free admission on this day only.  Children under 32" in height get free admission on any day of the event. However, this doesn't include carnival rides which cost $5.
